River Ridge Golf Club, located in East Raleigh on Auburn Knightdale Rd., is hiring a team player to work in our grill/food and beverage department. River Ridge has a small grill area that just serves our golfing customers, which is generally between 50 and 100 people per day during the winter months, and between 75 and 200 people per day during the spring, summer, and fall months.
Job responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
*efficiently running the cash register
*making and serving sandwiches, hotdogs, and beverages
*food prep and stocking beverages in cooler
*cleaning the entire grill area to food service sanitation specs
*keeping our wonderful customer base happy
The right person must be able to work alone, maintain patience, have a great personality, and enjoy being helpful and tolerate repetition. Must be flexible with work schedule and work weekends. An average of 20-40 hours per week is available through October. Shift hours will be either 7:15am-1:30pm or 11:30am-6:00pm. 2-5 shifts per week are available. Outside Cart Staff-River Ridge Golf Club

River Ridge Golf Club, 3224 Auburn Knightdale Rd, will hire a full time seasonal employee to assist in the fluid, efficient operation of the golf club. This employee will be a team player and be respectful of all employees, customers, and assets. The job is open immediately and will be offered until October 31. Starting pay will be $8 per hour. Full-time employment through the winter months will be available to the right candidate. Most of the job duties are included here, but are not limited to:
-pick driving range; wash, clean, and refill ball bins
-wash and restage carts as needed
-set up the driving range daily
-maintain driving range; keep free of trash, neatness, and return range bags to the proshop
-pick-up trash around club facilities and ground, including cart wash area, trash cans, parking lot, pool area, and Auburn Knightdale Rd, and blow around clubhouse.
-change out water coolers daily
-set up tables and chairs for golf outings and wedding receptions.
-clean the pavilion after golf outings and receptions.
-take out trash from the clubhouse.
-assist in helping food and beverage with special outings, functions. Deliver beverages from the stock room to the grill.
-wash linens and towels from events as needed.
Hours are from 6:30 am to 2 pm, Monday-Friday, but may vary depending on numerous issues. Occasional weekend help may be needed. A team player is a must. Outside Clubhouse Grounds

The Outside Clubhouse Grounds employee, under supervision of the Golf Course Superintendent and Assistant, manages the ornamental landscaping and appearance of the clubhouse property. The Outside Clubhouse Grounds employee maintains the clubhouse grounds to exceptional standards, presenting a lasting first impression to our guests. Also assists with the daily maintenance of the golf course. This includes mowing greens, raking bunker, and any other tasks deemed fit by management.
The Outside Clubhouse Grounds employee will have a hands-on experience that will include a multitude of gardening tasks:
spring clean-up of perennial beds;
annual bed preparation, planting and container planting and maintenance;
mulching, watering, fertilizing, pruning, and weeding;
prep and planting of new gardens around clubhouse and golf course.
Solid horticulture knowledge and experience is a must. Must be able to operate light utility vehicles, chain saws, weedeaters, pruners, backpack blowers, and mowers. Passion for plants and eye for detail. Self-motivated with strong desire to succeed. Ability to lift 50 lbs. Physically demanding position –extended bending and working on knees. 40-44 hours per week.
Every other weekend and holiday shifts required. Full-time year round position offers full benefit package after 90 days. Position includes vacation, sick and holiday pay, 100% paid health insurance after 90 days, retirement plan after 90 days, employees discounts in the grill and pro shop, golf privileges.
